| From the Puerto Plata Airport Take a left out of the airport onto the main highway. To get to the The Palms is easy. Simply stay on the main highway following the signs towards SOSUA. Drive into the El-Batey (El-Bahtay) section of town and proceed straight through the first and second set of lights. You will be passing a big supermarket called Playero at the first set. About a one minute drive after the second set of lights, you will see a reddish-brown brick sign on the right hand side that says "TRADEWINDS". Turn right and go straight up the hill. There are pink buildings directly on the right. The second building on the LEFT is a yellow and orange complex. This is the PALMS. If your taxi driver is not familiar with the Tradewinds, you can simply explain that it is the same entrance as Caribe Campo. They will be familiar with one or the other. |
