From the Puerto Plata Airport

Take a left out of the airport onto the main highway. To get to the The
Palms is easy. Simply stay on the main highway following the signs
towards SOSUA. Drive into the El-Batey (El-Bahtay) section of town and
proceed straight through the first and second set of lights.  You will be
passing a big supermarket called Playero at the first set.  About a one
minute drive after the second set of lights, you will see a reddish-brown
brick sign on the right hand side that says "TRADEWINDS".  Turn right
and go straight up the hill.  There are pink buildings directly on the right.
The second building on the LEFT is a yellow and orange complex.  This is
the PALMS.

If your taxi driver is not familiar with the Tradewinds, you can simply
explain that it is the same entrance as Caribe Campo. They will be familiar
with one or the other.

The Palms~Rules & Regulations

  • No unit may be rented to anyone with children under the age of 18.
  • No unit may be rented to anyone with pets.
  • Renters may not have more than two guests at the pool.
  • Most residents at The Palms are owners or long-term renters. Please be considerate.
  • The designated parking area is in the lot at the rear of the complex.
  • Motorcycles are not to be parked or stored in any unit or on any "common area" including patios.
  • There is to be no loud music at any time--"Quiet Time" is 10:00 pm.
  • Baclonies and patios must be kept neat and tidy. Balconies may not be used for drying clothes,
    towels, mats, etc. There are lines provided in the laundry area.
  • Everyone is responsible for cleaning up their own garbage from the pool and common areas.
    Trash containers are located behind the laundry area.

The Pool Regulations
Hours~9:00 AM-9:00 PM

  • NO GLASS BOTTLES OR CUPS ARE ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA!
  • Diving or playing ball is not allowed at the pool at any time.
  • Intoxicated people will be asked to leave the pool area.
  • Abusive or profane language will not be tolerated at the pool.
  • Ladies may not sunbathe without a top.
  • Residents will be held responsible for all actions of any guests or family members.
  • All persons using the pool or common area do so at their own risk.
  • Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injury or the loss of personal property.
